One thing that really changed my life for the better and got me really focussed on making positive changes was when I started to plan. I was used to planning things like activities and work stuff but I had never considered planning my life in terms of my health and wellbeing.
Of course when I have things like dentist and hair appointments in my diary, I would make sure I would attend. But putting my own exercise and self care in there at first felt strange.

There is something about the power of intention and writing stuff down that makes us far more likely to actually do it!
Every week I wrote down when I plan to exercise, what I plan to do in terms of exercise, I plan a little me time into my day too. It really keeps me accountable and I love to tick things as I go. There is a real sense of accomplishment.
